To induce and maintain general and regional type anesthetics at the required levels, manage untoward reactions, and provide proper! intervention and treatment of these reactions.
Education
Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Graduate of accredited school of anesthesia by the AANA. Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with Alabama license. Registered by the Alabama Board of Nurse Examiners.
Experience
Prefer one-year experience as CRNA or previous employment by Huntsville Hospital. Will consider applicants who have completed the CRNA program pre-ceptorship at Huntsville Hospital in lieu of experience.
Additional Skills/Experience
BCLS required within the provisional period of employment. Ability to communicate in English with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Ability to use effective interpersonal relations skills when working with a variety of people and situations. Ability to organize, accomplish goals and objectives, and meet deadlines. Ability to use discretional judgement in planning work, assessing results, solving problems, and taking or recommending ! actions. Ability to delegate and follow-up. Ability to adapt t! o a rapidly changing environment.
MUST ACQUIRE ACLS, PALS, & BLS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 90 DAYS OF HIRAL DATE
Must Be credentialed through HH Medical Staff Office
