Title: Early Childhood Coordinator Reports to: Director of Student Services Position Summary: The Early Childhood Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and administering all aspects of the school districts early childhood and special education programming. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Oversees early childhood education, preschool programming and transition to kindergarten; Coordinates with Early Intervention and area pre-schools; Responsible for Preschool and Kindergarten registration, orientation and parent engagement; Conducts Pre-school home visits; Leads special education IEP meetings and processes; Leads community screenings and community EC events; Leads professional development (PD) for special education and early childhood staff and collaborates with Assistant Superintendent and Team to plan PK-2 PD; Supervision and evaluation of EC staff and collaboration with site principals; Implementation of Early Education and Care (EEC) requirements; Works collaboratively with Director of Student Services to coordinate services and determine budget priorities; Leads professional learning related to EEC for district administrators; Manages grants related to EEC; Plans EC summer ESY programming; Participates as an active member of the district leadership team; Other related duties as assigned.
