What we’re looking for
Maritime’s Energy Transition (ET) is rapidly becoming a critical component of Lloyd’s Register’s differentiated proposition across our global markets.
Accordingly, we are recruiting a Marketing Manager, whose remit crosses Brand Positioning, Client Engagement Strategies and Product Marketing, to ensure a coordinated, coherent, and strategic end to end Energy Transition Proposition thrives in the market.

The role
- In partnership with the Brand and Strategic Content teams to ensure LR’s brand, though leadership and key strategic content drives our Energy Transition strategy and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with the segment, sales and account management teams, and the global marketing operations team, establish a program of physical and digital client engagement activities thematically linked to the ET and in support of delivering ET commercial outcomes.
- Own product marketing programs for LR’s ET portfolio, including supporting the creation of new products and services, in line with market opportunities and LR’s ET strategy.
- Develop strategic market insight regarding Maritime’s Energy Transition (competition, buyers, collaboration with internal and external stakeholder groups) mapping opinion, ideas, suggestions, and experiences.
- Drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonates with colleagues, buyers and empower our sales channels (web and social media) to be successful.
- Track topline growth of the business and the effectiveness of the marketing strategies and campaigns employed to continuously innovate to stay ahead of competition.
- Align with company’s branding standards.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing; MBA preferred.
- Significant yearlong marketing experience with B2B demand generation experience with proven ABM specific knowledge and skills
- Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Project or Asana.
- Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Salesforce and DemandFarm.
- Familiar with marketing automation tools such as Demandbase, Pardot and Google Analytics.
- Power user of networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
- Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to demonstrate how a deliverable can lead to a successful outcome.
- Excellent leadership, people and management skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively in a multicultural environment. Team player!
- Strong public speaking and writing skills, comfortable in front of large, senior groups.
- Passion to develop innovative programs that drive demand.
- An attention to detail and eye for quality are critical to your success, along with an ability to grasp and present our proposition with a solution focused thinking.
- Very good command (written and oral) in English using relevant professional terminology.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with colleagues in person and around the world.
- Experience in the Maritime industry is considered an advantage.
- Authorization to work in the respective country is preferred.
