Location: Rainbow City, Alabama

Description: Cumberland Dental of Alabama is currently seeking to employ Registered Nurse (RN) right now, this vacancy will be placed in Alabama. Our practices are located in Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Gadsden, and Oxford, Alabama. With approximately 14 dental providers and 10 Hygienists on staff, we currently offer general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and periodontics in some or all of our practices. We currently have an opportunity for a PRN Registered Nurse.

Registered Nurse

In this position you will provide optimum patient care and be responsible for care coordination during IV sedation during oral surgery procedures.

In this position you will:

• Provide chair side support during clinical sessions.
• Assist Surgeon with treating and monitoring patients during intravenous sedation and conscious sedation.
• Maintain and record patient information.
• Prepare and maintain the clinical environment.
• Monitor and reassure patients undergoing dental treatment.
• Provide advice to patients and refer clinical questions to Dental Surgeons.
• Assist and support clinical team members in the event of a medical emergency.

Registered Nurses licensed to practice in the State of Alabama who are looking for a PRN position should consider this opportunity. Candidates will need to be flexible with travel to dental practices in the Birmingham and Gadsden area. Candidates with 3+ years of nursing experience who have worked on a team with DDS, Dental Anesthesiologists and Dental Assistants preferred.
