Description
Assists CRNAs and MDAs in providing safe and adequate care to patients.
Maintains anesthesia equipment; cleans, stocks and checks anesthesia trays, carts and supply areas.
Prepares and assists MDAs in following procedures: insertion of arterial line, Swan-Ganz catheters and blood sugar tests.
Restocks routine and emergency medications in anesthes! ia carts.
Qualifications
CHS Employees
MUST
obtain their supervisor’s signature on the

Education:
High school or equivalent with ability to read and write and perform simple arithmetic calculations and some basic technical knowledge normally acquired through participation in a brief vocational education course.
All applicants are required to submit an official high school transcript or GED certificate verifying their level of education at the time of their interview.
This transcript must be in a
SEALED
envelope from the school or agency.
Experience:
One to six months required to become familiar with job! duties and identification of various packs and instruments and to perform testing of equipment.
Licenses/Certifications:

Call is required.
