Quality Control


 

Assists the Production manager/supervisor in maintaining the warehouse and keeps it running smoothly by taking on some organizational tasks, including but not limited to the responsibilities and duties listed below.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES (including but not limited to):

  • Work to resolve production team complaints, address concerns and explain company policies.
  • Staying in the loop with Leads on the floor.
  • Ensuring production team stays on task and never run out of supplies
  • Quality Control
  • Ensuring the production team has completed all tasks before dismissing them at the end of each shift. (Cleaning)
  • Monitoring raw materials/devices/packaging, keeping organized and restocking when needed.
  • Monitoring labels and keeping them organized by policies and procedures.
  • Be sure that any defective products are reported properly
  • Checking floor supplies stock at the end of each shift. (including the quantity of tamper stickers and boxes)
  • Assist the packaging department by ensuring they have the packaging and product necessary to produce. (For example: while the Lead is busy counting, you will grab new boxes of packaging if needed and continue to QC the row so you do not fall behind on production).
  • Properly use a tape dispenser
  • Properly use a pallet jack
  • Properly use a box cutter
  • Break down and properly dispose of boxes throughout the day
  • No cellphone use
  • Stay on task and make sure that the quality of our products are always the best they can be.
  • ANY OTHER TASKS AS DIRECTED BY MANAGEMENT

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must display strong communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills.
  • Must be capable leaders and team players with excellent communication skills
  • Must stay up to date with new products and product building knowledge.
  • Must be thoroughly trained and aware of facilities procedures and policies.
  • Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds safely and properly to job duties listed above
  • Must be able to handle constructive criticism and guidance and offer the same to others in the department. (Must be coachable)
  • Being able to work extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
