Job Purpose
Maximize Murata’s sales revenue, growth and profit within allocated customers and achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction (“Delight the customer”).
Responsibilites and Tasks
Take ownership and responsibility and work towards continuous quality improvement in the following areas:
Customer:
Internal:
Key Account Management (only):
Customer:
- Establish best relationship to customers over all levels of the organization by regular visits
- Be the first point of contact for all customer related requirements
- Identify business opportunities and convert them into sales by professional technical and commercial support
- Guide and lead negotiations with customers
Internal:
- Communicate via reporting tools, coordinate the customer requirements and opportunities globally with all operational functions within the company
- Define Key for Success and cooperate with involved functional teams and Product Divisions
- Prepare customer negotiations together with internal stakeholders
- Track running business in comparison with sales plan
- Set-up sales plan together with Sales Management
Key Account Management (only):
- Cooperate with Global Account Manager in all required aspects
- Support customers with a global perspective
Required Education
Required Knowledge/Experience
- University degree with a technical focus, Electrical Engineering or Electronics preferred
- Solid professional experience in sales (3+ years)
- Proven sales skills and market and sales strategy knowledge
- Good commercial skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Profound knowledge in electronics systems and/or electronic components
- Good command in standard software (MS Office, Lotus Notes, etc.) and special business software (e.g. CRM tool)
- Basic knowledge in Quality Management
- Proficient spoken and written command of English language, good local language skills preferred depending on the location
- Intercultural competence
- Good communication skills and customer-orientated personality
