As a EHS manager your responsibility will include Building and implementing the safety and ISO standards management plan on site, while complying with the requirements of the law, statutory regulations and company procedures, including the risk assessment surveys, professional mentoring of team members investigation of incidents, etc.
What will your job look like?
- Leading, implementing, assimilating, and controlling the company's safety processes, policies and ISO standards.
- Training and monitoring safety and ISO standards issues, including training employees, managers, and subcontractors.
- Defining relevant metrics and objectives for examining the application and effectiveness of the safety and performance system, as well as analyzing and investigating safety hazards trends and exceptional events.
- Taking proactive measures to prevent work accidents, while complying with the requirements of law and the company's standards.
- Performing incident analysis for work accidents, preparing reports and conclusions for the relevant parties.
- Accompanying all station departments in regulatory audits, including editing and active participation in the audits, and implementing the conclusions raised in the audits
- Work in a computerized maintenance system.
- Member of the Operations management.
- Creating a supportive work environment for the company's business needs.
- The position requires a combination of fieldwork and office work.
All you need:
- 5+ years' experience in safety, preferably in a high-tech (preferably global) environment.
- Israeli Safety Supervisor certification (ממונה בטיחות בעבודה).
- Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies, Experience with ISO 14001 and 45001 standards and implementation processes
- Experience as security manager – advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- High-level written and oral English and Hebrew, including ability to deliver tutorials in English.
- Great management skills and ability to lead internal and external processes and projects independently.
- Availability to work nights and weekends in case of emergencies
