Looking for autonomy?You're in luck! Our client is seeking an Asset Manager with a strong background in performing successful acquisitions and optimising portfolios.
A well-positioned, client-centric student accommodation company, our clients have bought, built and managed their national portfolio for over 20 years. The Asset manager will be identifying and driving the acquisition of new properties as well as ensuring delivery of each product, maximizing the cash flow and ongoing asset management. On the other side of the coin, the successful incumbent will get lightly involved in the Development cycle, representing the investor. Being the only Asset Manager on the team you will be responsible for overseeing a Project Manager who is tasked with rolling out small refurbishments and upgrades together valued at up to R50 million.
This opportunity would suit someone with close attention to detail, who has a stable track record and exceptional financial skills.
Our client would preferably hire someone with a qualification in the Built environment, Property, or Finance space. Being that you will be solely responsible for strategic and operational optimization, you will need 10 years' experience in the Asset management with a focus on student accommodation, residential or hospitality projects. Knowledge on the intricacies of the development cycle will secure.
