Flour Delivery Driver - Part-time [United States]

This will be a part-time/fill-in position when our regular driver is not available. His usual schedule is hauling two loads on Sun, Mon, Wed, Thu and Fri. This schedule is subject to change and we are looking for a driver who can be flexible.

The duties of this job will include but are not limited to:

• Perform flour transloading operations to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain shipping records and submit to accounting for billing purposes.
• Maintain site sanitation requirements according to food grade transportation activities.
• Schedule and facilitate equipment service both planned an unplanned to support reliable service.
• Maintain Preventative Maintenance records.

Requirements of a successful Transload Driver

• High school diploma or GED
• Current class A CDL . Tanker endorsement preferred, but not required
• At least 2 years of tractor trailer driving experience, 3 years preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Experience driving in the snow and ice
• Able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and reference checks and successfully pass Bartlett’s road test, which will include a proper pre and post trip inspection of the vehicle

Here are some of the physical requirements of this role:

• Climb into and out of cab multiple times per shift
• Climb a ladder and steps 10 or more times a day
• Lift 50 or more pounds daily while climbing steps
• Drive and work in adverse weather conditions
• Hook and unhook hoses and open and close valves

All employees shall be subject to drug testing and background checks.
