Overview
In this role, you will be a strategic partner with the President and Operations Leadership Team. You will co-create the evolving organizational strategic plan, translate the people-related priorities into an execution strategy, then deliver the results to the organization. You will couple your core HR knowledge with a passion for delivering a magnetic employee experience that brings people into the organization and keeps them there. You will navigate the ambiguity and decipher the best course of action for the organization and the employees.

Responsibilities
  • Establishing and driving solutions-focused change throughout the business
  • Utilizing your systemic and holistic thinking to anticipate potential implications of what is happening in the business, understanding its impacts on the organization, and developing solutions to capitalize on/ account for
  • Leading the Talent Acquisition (TA) Advisor to develop strategies to achieve organizational workforce hiring goals
  • Developing, implementing, and optimizing an employee listening strategy that enables employees to be heard and actions to be taken to improve the employee experience
  • Establishing end-to-end people strategies to align a culture where individuals have the opportunity and are empowered to succeed
  • Championing and managing the development of JR Merit s Institute for Excellence + Learning – creating and implementing a tailored position and department-specific training and leadership development curriculum
  • Partnering with the Operations Leadership Team to develop, implement, and optimize a DE&I strategy for the organization
Qualifications
  • A combination of education and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the job duties.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity well, maintaining ability to work independently and successfully without having all the desired information, direction or instructions
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret, and connect complex data
  • Ability to foster a positive environment despite setbacks
  • Ability to form and maintain strong relationships built on trust at all levels across the organization

  • Ability to provide expertise in all core human resource related topics including workforce management, recruiting, performance management, learning and development programs, employee relations, compensation and rewards, diversity and inclusion, etc.
