We are looking for a junior P&C Business Partner to join us who will provide end-to-end HR advisory support across the business for generalist related matters. This is a generalist role supporting the HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and driving the culture, capability, and performance agenda. In this role you will get exposure on all levels to the business to understand better functional needs and priorities.
You'll get the opportunity to provide both, process support and guidance to employees and managers, and utilise valuable insights on P&C metrics driving future decisions.
The role will include supporting and managing employee relations issues, managing the off/on – boarding processes, responding to HR queries, supporting the Inclusion, Diversity and engagement agenda and be the first point of contact for first line managers.
Your day to day
As the Junior P&C Business partner, you will be responsible for coaching and supporting Line Managers with a range of employee relations related processes e.g. performance management, and provide solutions based on company policies, employment legislation and ACAS Code of Conduct, as well as maintain admin and documentation where necessary. You'll provide data-driven insights on key organizational metrics to the HRBPs and business stakeholders; act on the results and provide direction to employees and people managers.
In collaboration with the HRBPs, you'll deploy plans following engagement survey feedback and support in driving the I&D agenda with preparation and supporting facilitations where necessary. You will support with the design and development of relevant team building activities, including facilitation, where necessary to further enhance team engagement.
You’ll counsel people managers and employees on their personal matters and lead individual issues, in the areas of performance, development, general complaints and be the first point of contact for first line managers.
You’ll also partner with relevant business support functions such as Integrated Talent Management Team, to support embedding development activities and development plans. Supporting timely execution of cycles such as IC, MAP for eligibility checks, observing progress and follow-ups. You’ll support talent & succession planning reviews in preparation of data, gathering feedback during the session and communicating results to people managers.
You will proactively support the employee life cycle journey by supporting managers with onboarding plans, audit probation periods, support through probation extension activities, notice period management, administrative support and exit process.
In this role, you’ll take the lead in assessing and managing absence, ensuring systems are updated, process is fully followed through, and relevant documentation is received and recorded. Working together with the P&C Operations team, you’ll regularly analyse absence data for trends and recommend proactive solutions.

About you
- You'll have a minimum of 4 years demonstrable experience in a generalist role at HR Advisor level and have ideally a CIPD accredited qualification or working towards one.
- To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have experience advising line managers on basic ER issues such as performance management, support on investigation meetings, note taking in disciplinary and grievance meetings in line with employment legislation and ACAS code of conduct.
- You’ll have the ability to read and connect the data from different sources to draw conclusions, crafting meaningful insights, visualizing results, and proposing actions.
- Experience with SAP, Workday is highly desired.
- You are someone that enjoys networking, building professional network within and outside of function to successfully collaborate and solve problems. You have a good knowledge of HR policies & practices and are able to fluently navigate and interpret relevant policies and practices, including elements of labor law to be able to apply to various, also not standard situations, and provide timely and tailored support for employee’s needs.
