Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Product Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams to contribute to the entire product design lifecycle, from concept development to final implementation. As a Junior Product Designer, you will have the chance to work on a variety of projects, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the success of our products.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the development and execution of innovative design concepts and solutions that align with the product vision and user needs.
2. Collaborate with senior designers and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand project goals, and contribute to design discussions.
3. Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and user interactions effectively.
4. Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze user feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on existing designs.
5. Work closely with the engineering team to ensure the feasibility of design concepts and provide support during the implementation phase.
6. Maintain and contribute to design systems, style guides, and other design documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency across products.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance design skills continuously and knowledge.
Qualifications:
1. B.Sc or HND.Relevant design certifications or course work are a plus.
2. Strong portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of design principles, user-centered design, and proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD , and Figma.
3. Knowledge of user research techniques, usability testing methodologies, and an ability to apply research findings to inform design decisions.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. A collaborative and open-minded approach, with the ability to accept and incorporate feedback from peers and senior team members.
6. A passion for user-centered design, emerging technologies, and a desire to learn and grow within the field of product design.
Salary
NGN100-150,000 per month
