SUMMER ASSOCIATE PROGRAM SUMMARY
Spencer Fane’s Summer Associate Program starts the Tuesday after Memorial Day each year and runs for 10 weeks, 40 hours/week. You are assigned a mentor who is your go-to person to make sure you are getting everything you need to develop yourself over the summer. You get to pick the projects you work on based on your legal area of interest. Projects are meaningful and you are treated as an associate since you are making real contributions to the Firm. We keep our Summer Associate classes on the smaller side (10-15 across the Firm), so you get to work directly with our Partners as much as possible. We offer a variety of different types of social events so you can get to know the other Summer Associates and the people who you would be working with, if you eventually become a full-time Associate with Spencer Fane.

QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's Degree required; applicants should be in their first or second year of law school
- Previous experience in a legal setting highly preferred
- GPA must be 3.0 or higher; GPA within top third of class preferred
