The opportunity
Coregas has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Officer to join our team. The role will be based at our Yennora, NSW site and you will be responsible for the planning and coordination of the supply, storage and distribution of liquid products. The duties of this role will include:
- Provide management support across the supply and scheduling team.
- Develop and maintain SOPs in accordance aligned to Coregas requirements.
- Provide project management support across various projects within the supply chain team with the purpose of improving the logistics function for efficiency, cost and quality.
- Implement and monitor purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans for your portfolio ensuring to meet all customer requirements.
- Prepare and implement plans to meet required stock levels for customer orders within your portfolio and within budgeted cost to the business.
- Ensure that all paperwork (inc. Dangerous Goods and Chain of Responsibility CoR) is completed and planned deliveries have been completed accordingly.
- Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to ensure supply requirements are maintained and stock levels are controlled with schedules kept up to date.
- Liaise daily with internal departments and 3PL providers to ensure plan is actioned and fix issues as they arise and liaise on import and export of cylinders / liquid.
- Manage contract negotiations with suppliers ensuring to meet all quality, cost and delivery requirements.
- Manage Navision, Cyltrack and relevant databases to track all movements of supplies ensuring to maintain inventory and stock at optimal and agreed levels.
- Oversee all recording of purchases, storage and distribution transaction within your portfolio.
- Develop schedule to ensure full compliance is met to CoR law in term of fatigue management.
- Oversee maintenance management for trailers according to maintenance guideline and delegate coordination of vehicle servicing as required.
- Investigate and resolve any CoR Non-conformance in accordance with Coregas guidelines.
- Ensure a safe work environment for all staff & customers in accordance with the company’s Quality, Environmental, Safety and Health policies.
To be successful in this role, candidates will require a minimum of 5+ years experience within a logistics, engineering or supply chain management role along with a relevant Bachelor’s qualification in Engineering or Logistics.
Salary circa $82k base + super
