Job Summary
As a Senior Node Engineer on the LeadConduit team you will play a vital role in maintaining and adding features to the LeadConduit product. This is a senior position, and with that, you will be in a key position to provide technical direction and architecture of the project. We're a small team within the larger ActiveProspect company. The work you do has a direct impact on the success of the LeadConduit product and ActiveProspect as a whole.
As such, you will:
- Ship clean, well-tested code to production on a regular basis
- Work closely with the LeadConduit frontend engineers to ensure uninterrupted service
- Provide input and technical direction for backend development
- Participate in planning and estimating to continuously improve the product
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers

Qualifications and Skills
- More than 5 years experience working as a backend developer
- An expert level knowledge of Node.JS and Vanilla JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of MongoDB
- Strong knowledge of one or more JS testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.)
- Proficient with Git and GitHub
How to Stand Out
- Familiarity with ElasticSearch
- Familiarity with the popular frontend frameworks (Vue, Angular, React, etc.)
- Experience with AWS (AMI, S3, Dynamo, SQS, CloudFront)
- Comfortable working in a remote-first environment
- Within 4 hours of Central Time
