Job Description


We are looking for a skilled and friendly Receptionist/ Administration Assistant to join our team based in Notting Hill, Melbourne. To provide a wide variety of essential support to the business, primarily acting as the first point of contact for SGS Australia for all stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have high level of administrative, organizational, and customer service skills. Please note This is a 12 month maternity leave contract with the possibility for extension.

Duties will include:

  • Answer and direct all incoming switchboard calls to the appropriate staff member
  • Respond to all Voicemail messages on reception phones
  • Meet and Greet all corporate visitors
  • Monitor reception mailbox
  • Coordinate site notifications
  • Collect and process incoming and outgoing mail and freight as per procedure
  • Update and maintain local and nationwide SGS phone/contact lists
  • Assign and create access (swipe) cards for SGS Staff, Visitors and Guests
  • Perform administrative duties as required

Qualifications
  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Computer literacy, particularly internal email, Microsoft Office suite, and Oracle
  • Professional presentation suitable for front desk environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
