Our assisted living community is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to join our weekend team. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our community and will be responsible for greeting residents, families, and visitors, answering and directing phone calls, and providing administrative support to various departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors, residents, and families warmly and make them feel welcome
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and take messages when necessary
  • Manage the reception area, keeping it clean and organized
  • Provide administrative support to various departments, including typing, filing, and data entry
  • Assist with resident inquiries and requests, including scheduling appointments and coordinating transportation
  • Monitor and respond to emergency calls from residents
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain an inventory of office supplies and order as needed
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Experience in a customer service or administrative role preferred

Experience:

  • Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
