Project Coordinator


 

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and tactical support for remote Project Managers. Looking for an ambitious individual who enjoys a dynamic fast pace environment and has proven excellence customer service skills.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and follow up with customers’ requests as required about specific projects

  • Process invoices for customers and/or vendors based on services rendered
  • Track and report on material status for projects as directed by the Project Manager
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects
  • Assist with creating written estimates for customers based on engineering, labor, and materials
  • Assist with updating project data in various systems
  • Assist design engineer to create and QC project designs and Bill of Materials/Bill of Labor
  • Create reporting and tracking spreadsheets for projects as directed by the Project Manager
  • Assist the Project Manager in all phases and aspects of the project
  • Attend pre/post-installation conference calls
  • Attend weekly project meetings as requested by the Project Manager and keep detailed meeting minutes for publishing to project team

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge and design of fiber optic systems – 1 + years
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required
  • Extensive knowledge with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Projec
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to handle rapidly changing priorities
  • Attention to detail with focus on error-free work
  • Works well in team environment and with peers – team player
  • Result-oriented and responsive; utilizes network, SME’s and other available resources to facilitate driving tasks to closure.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with Procore project management software
  • Technical background, preferably in the fields of telecommunications
  • Knowledge of CenturyLink’s BidMaster/Fireworks system
  • Superior administrative skills
  • Demonstrated record of delivering high quality results

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour

  • Fiber optic: 1 year (Required)
