Survey Crew Chief
Job Description:
WCG is hiring for a Survey Crew Chief to joing our growing team. This position offers a flexible schedule with the oppurtunity to use the latest technology in the industry. This position includes the option to work remotely without the need to drive to an office. This individual will oversee the daily operation of the crew and ensure that all production requirements are met. The Survey Crew Chief will be responsible for ensuring that all safety, quality, and production standards are maintained at all times.
Qualifications:
·Minimum 3 years survey experience.
·High School Diploma or equivalent required.
·Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
·Experienced with Trimble survey products.
·Option to work Monday through Thursday 4x10s or Monday through Friday.
·Must have strong leadership qualities and be able to communicate effectively with the team and external customers.
·Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast paced environment.
·Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
·Must have strong problem solving skills.
·Must have good communication skills.
·Must be able to use a computer to upload and download daily lineouts.
·Must be a self starter with strong work ethic.
·Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Responsibilities:
·Maintain survey truck and equipment.
·Supervise rodman or field assistant.
·Download daily lineout and execute plan for completion of request.
·Upload survey data daily for review and processing.
·Perform land surveys of all types including as-built surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, as directed by survey coordinator.
·Demonstrate a professional appearance and behavior as a representative of the company.
·Communicate with landowners, contractors, and other stakeholders
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
