Position Summary:
85SIXTY is looking for an Digital Analyst with experience with web analytics and tag management. This is a great opportunity to use and grow your skills in the realm of digital analytics, with opportunities to get hands-on experience with A/B testing & personalization, dashboarding & visualization, and advanced data analysis. The role will be primarily responsible for supporting client strategies through the deployment of web and media analytics tags/tracking.
While primarily focused on digital media planning, building integrated plans across all types of media (including traditional media) will be part of this role. This person should be highly skilled in planning and executing digital media and understand the role of different media channels.
This person will be a valued member of our growing analytics team and will be involved in defining and deploying effective measurement strategies to support client objectives. This role requires a familiarity in web analytics, providing insights & analysis, and tag implementation for clients to achieve business goals. 85SIXTY has a highly collaborative approach and as such, your digital analytics expertise will be combined with the knowledge of other team members to create an integrated client strategy rooted in performance. We are currently working remotely, but have offices in San Diego and Denver.
Job Responsibilities:
- Will work closely with clients and our Media team to provide detailed data analysis and ensure proper user tracking is implemented through client web properties
- Manage business tagging and tracking operations to support both small and large-scale digital marketing initiatives
- Execute tag management strategy and deployment within a tag container; this includes working with paid media team members to configure appropriate code and conversions for a given online campaign
- Configure analytics tools to accurately manage information about key business objectives and key performance indicators
- Will build and maintain tag documentation and best-practices
- Responsible for creating, testing, and verifying tagging implementation, with a focus on data quality and reliability
- Design creative tracking, tagging, and reporting solutions to meet client needs including attribution approaches, user experience optimization, identity management, privacy compliance and a myriad of other challenges in the digital ecosystem.
Desired Experience & Skills:
- 1 - 3 years of experience working with web analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
- 1 - 3 years of experience working with tag management systems, such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Tags (Launch), or Tealium
- 1 - 3 years of marketing, media, and advertising measurement experience (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, DCM Floodlight, etc.)
- Comfortability with standard web languages, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with data layer events and data layer architecture is a plus
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, changing priorities and tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams and people at all levels
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000
