We are looking for two Senior Hydropower Development Project Manager to strengthen our Hydropower Development team in the Development Unit in Business Area Nordics. One position is permanent, and one position is a 1 year temporary position. The team is newly established to deliver on Statkraft’s growth ambition. Our first goal is to develop 5 large hydropower plants in the Nordics within 2030.

Our new Senior Hydropower Development Project Managers are in charge of opportunities from prospect to Principal Investment Decision (PID). The main responsibilities are:
- Leading project team, plan and report progress.
- Ensure coordination and collaboration within the project team, and with adjacent projects and supporting functions
- Propose technical solution and commercial set up
- In charge of HSSE and sustainability aspects, required environmental assessments, and responsible obtaining required concessions and permits for the projects
- Ensure adequate and constructive stakeholder dialogue and relevant communication work in collaboration with and aligned with the wider Statkraft organization
- Report status to head of Hydropower Development team, and to Steering Committee
- Participate in Hydropower Development units continuous work developing best practice and strategic approach for the portfolio of hydropower development opportunities
- Master of Engineering or equivalent job experience
- Experience in project development and construction of power plants and/or construction of hydropower tunnels is an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to drive team and create results
- Strategic, conceptual, structured, creative, pro-active and solution-oriented team builder
- Excellent communication skills in Norwegian/Swedish and English
