Janssen Italy - Medical Science Liaison Manager - Neuroscience [Italy]


 

Janssen Cilag SpA is recruiting for a Neuroscience Medical Science Liaison Manager, located in Cologno Monzese, Milan.

You will report to the respective Therapeutic Area Medical Manager (TAMM) and play a meaningful role in leading the MSL team to provide medical support to the Neuroscience franchise, with a chance to create a real difference to the therapy areas of interest (Major Depressive Disorder-MDD, Schizophrenia-SCH, Multiple Sclerosis-MS and other nervous system disorders).

Key Responsibilities :

  • You’ll have the responsibility to support your team development in order to stimulate every team member to express all of their potential and progress in their career.
  • You’ll coordinate the development and implementation of the MSLs activity plan, in alignment with Medical Affairs strategy to support and communicate the value that our products provide to the medical community and to the patients who can benefit from them. This will include supervision of:
  • medical scientific communication;
  • medical education at national, regional/local level;
  • support to the Medical Affairs/R&D study program including company sponsored RCT/RWE initiative and IIS;
  • external stakeholders engagement and networking through scientific interactions and ad hoc activities;
  • valuable insights collection to inform the company medical affairs and product team (CVT) strategy, and business decision making.

Qualifications

Education:

Medical degree or other scientific degrees (required) while a MA/MBA will be considered nice to have.

Experience and Skills:

  • At least 5 years in MSL/Medical Advisor role
  • Previous people management experience is preferred;
  • Knowledge of the relevant disease areas (MDD/SCH/MS) and of all products within TA;
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant rules in terms of clinical research, pharmacovigilance, medical education (CME);
  • Highly stakeholder focused and results oriented;
  • Innovative with the ability to coordinate and drive a team in changing environments.

Other:

  • Fluent in English (B1 and above)
  • Proficient with using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)
  • 50% travel percentage, mainly at national level
  • Valid driver’s license
